We try to immortalize the actual name of West Africa's highest mountain, Mount Afadja. ‘Afadjato’ is a misnomer forged of mispronunciation and misspelling. It was initially named Avadzeto, after the creeping and itchy water yam plants, avadzé, that grew around the mountain.
Also, the letter ‘J’ doesn't exist in Éʋe orthography('dz' is the consonant that does).
